This amazing chocolate boy is son to Darcy who recently passed away at 15 years old. Just like his mom, Coffee made a place in all of our hearts, but is a particular favorite of Ross’s. He is one of our all-time greats and a very versatile dog as well. At almost 13 now he still has a lot of enthusiasm, running around the backyard and playing like he is only 2.
Strong retriever he earned his Am/Can WC’s at nine years of age. He and his sister, Otter, took to the water naturally at seven weeks swimming like big dogs even though they hadn’t seen water before.
His show career has been very successful in both Canada and the US, he’s a multi-sporting group placer. Finished his US Championship with BOB at a supported entry under breeder/judge Claire Senfield.
His specialty career started with BOS in Puppy Sweeps in the US at a specialty held in conjunction with Finger Lakes under breeder/judge Sue Williumsen. We retired him at nine after he fittingly was awarded BOS at the EOLBA by Sue. She began and completed this great dogs show career.
Coffee has many successful children and grandchildren, including our own Expresso who just returned from his reign in the US at Belquest Kennels.
Coffee is currently at home being spoiled by us.
