Who knew that Dany would end up such a influence here at Highcaliber and Labradale, when we picked him up as a small puppy. He is our constant companion, a proven producer and impressive show dog. Added to this he is an excellent retriever with lots of drive and a love of water.

His children Shakira and Blake have made a big splash in their show debuts, as have his grandchildren, especially Miranda.

He has given us multiple champions including littermates MBPIS Ch Highcaliber Twilight Eclipse and BPISSweeps Ch Highcaliber’s By Chance. His latest youngster her is Ch Highcaliber Labradale Solstice.

Chance’s daughter Ch Labradale’s Maid in the Shade finished as a puppy with puppy group wins. Gemma’s puppy career also included several specialty class wins and placements. On top of their wins these dogs contribute to our lives. Bella is the house dog at Labradale, Chance lives in Montreal with a great family, while Gemma makes us smile everyday with her happy, outgoing personality.

Special thanks also to Claire White-Peterson, Jean-Louis Blais and Sue Williumsen for other awards of notice enroute to his title. Would also add Majorie Martorella who gave us his last point with WD/BOW/BOB.

Dark yellow labrador retriever winning in the USA — Enroute to his American championship Dany earned the required points with four majors. Prior to finishing his Am Ch he received a couple of impressive reserves. We chose to show him at supported entries and specialties, so he finished among the best Labradors in the North America. Shown here going reserve at the LRCPV specialty in 2011 under breeder judge Sue Williumsen (Willcare).

Breeder Judge Specialty Win for Dany of Highcaliber Kennels — Dany — Best of Opposite in Specialty at Finger Lakes 2012 under breeder/judge Cheryl Curtis (Erinhill)

Specialty Winning Labrador — Under breeder/judge Judy Heim (Hyspire) this win was here in Canada at the EOLBA Specialty 2011.

Dany going BISS LRCO 2013 — Best in Specialty summer of 2013 at the LRCO specialty under breeder/judge Patricia Lanctot

This picture is of Dany at 16 mos winning his first US Major. In fact this was his first time out as an adult in the US and he was WD/BOW Sat/Sun at Ballston Spa supported entries. Thank you to Mary Ann Cherwinski as this first win gave us the confidence to pursue Dany's championship owner/handled.
