This breeding was a special breeding, it was several generations in the planning and we are not disappointed. “Sage” her sire was a top producer in his era and we waited to get the right pedigree and female to use his frozen semen on. The resulting puppies are all we had hoped for fun, happy characters with winning personalities possessing a little sass, lots of drive coupled with high intelligence.

Layla’s show debut weekend she earned 7 points all under breeder judges, then shown at a local show she earned couple more points. We then put her away until the Labrador Retriever Club of Ontario specialty and were so excited she finished in style under another breeder judge, Cheryl Curtis of Erinhill Labradors. She had just turned twelve months couple weeks prior.

This girl is happy outgoing plus possesses good retrieving drive and trainability. We’re excited to see what the future holds for her.

Layla made her American debut at the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac Spring Specialty where she didn’t disappoint. She was Best Puppy in Match #1 under breeder/judge Ewa Kotowska of Bloomwood Labradors (UK).

Candid of Layla at 7 months.
Layla and her brother Brice making their debut at Wildwood at six months under breeder judge Madeleine Charest (Chablais Labradors). Brice was WD and Layla WB BOW BPIB.
Second of three wins her debut weekend at six months, this one was under breeder judge Jean Louis Blais. The third win was under breeder judge Denise Branch (Bluesouth) where she was WB BOW BPIB and BPIG.
Here WB BOW at seven months, thought had completed her championship but was a missing a point so sign incorrect.
